I can’t believe I haven’t done this one yet. I think this was George’s first favourite book. It was given to him by his cousins Jude and Sadie and he loved it from the first time we opened it. It has very simple, bright illustrations and very simple explanatory text and is, funnily enough, all about planes. George was into this book well before he started talking but I think it played a big part in his understanding of words. We also have Dinosaurs and Trucks (courtesy of Jude and Sadie again) but although he likes those, he’s never been quite the same with them as he was when he first got Planes. I’d definitely recommend this for little boys from about 12mos up.
